Supporting wall and widening of roads at the village of Dayr Amis
A UNIFIL-funded quick impact project was inaugurated last week at the Dayr Amis Municipality building in south Lebanon. The ceremony was attended by the Malaysian Contingent (MALBATT) Deputy Commander, the Mayor of Dayr Amis and other local authorities.
This project included the construction of a 70-metre long supporting wall as well as the widening of roads in the village.
Through this project, UNIFIL supports the municipality in order to provide better safety and convenience to the residents who use these roads daily.
