UNIFIL’s Nepal Battalion (NEPBATT) provided free treatment to 93 patients last week during two medical and dental camps it conducted in Tallousah and Majdel Slim municipalities in south-eastern Lebanon.

Local farmers and traders had just started to assemble and set up stalls along the main street of Bint Jbeil when UNIFIL Head of Mission and Force Commander Major General Michael Beary, accompanied by local dignitaries, strolled in to the weekly market. 

Lebanon’s Prime Minister Saad Hariri today paid his first visit to the headquarters of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), as part of his tour of the UNIFIL area of operations in southern Lebanon.
