The medical team of UNIFIL’s Italian contingent recently organized a large-scale campaign in the town of Arzon in Tyre, south Lebanon. 

Many families benefited from the initiative and appreciated UNIFIL peacekeepers’ efforts to improve the health conditions of the local population in the region. The latest initiative involved a number of mobile clinics.

These medical campaigns are done at the request of the local authorities in order to support the population and improve the medical services in the villages of the South.
