UNIFIL peacekeepers inspire at Shebaa's Primary School
UNIFIL Indian peacekeepers recently visited Shebaa's Primary School, the only school that continues to operate in their area where Indian peacekeepers work. This visit shows their commitment to supporting education and helping young students in the difficult current situation.
During the visit, the peacekeepers talked with school staff and encouraged the students, emphasizing the importance of education for peace and nation-building. They praised the school's staff, parents, and students for keeping education a priority despite the challenges.
Such engagements highlight the crucial role of UNIFIL peacekeepers in a high-tension area. They not only work to restore stability and security, but also build connections with the community and help those facing tough times, especially the most vulnerable.
