On Monday 10 July 2017, Colonel Nicolas DURAND succeeded to Colonel Loïc GIRARD as the head of the Force Commander Reserve (FCR).
 
The ceremony of Transfer of Authority held at Deir Kifa, was attended by Brigadier General Sandeep Singh BAJAJ, Deputy Force Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) along with several civilian, military and religious authorities.
 
750 French soldiers and 150 Finish peacekeepers work together as part of the FCR, to maintain peace in the region.
