UNIFIL expresses grave concern for the safety of civilians in southern Lebanon amidst the most intense Israeli bombing campaign since last October.

UNIFIL’s French peacekeepers hosted members of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) in their main base in the south Lebanese village of Dayr Kifa for joint training last week. 

Peacekeepers from the Republic of Korea have been a vital source of support for local communities, providing medical care to around 1,800 residents across five villages in Tyre, south Lebanon: Brughuliyah, Abbasiyah, Burj Rahal, Tayr Dibba, and Shabriha.
