On 18 January, UNIFIL troops observed an unidentified object in the general area of Al Adeisse, close to the Blue Line. UNIFIL immediately informed LAF about the matter.

After coordination with LAF, a UNIFIL GIS team conducted technical measurements in the area and determined that the object was located south of the Blue Line.

This morning, the IDF removed the object. UNIFIL and LAF troops were deployed in the area to ensure there was no violation of the Blue Line.

The situation in the area is calm.
