As part of the ongoing UNIFIL support to host communities in their fight against COVID-19 pandemic, UNIFIL Spanish peacekeepers donated last week several equipment to the social development centres (SDCs) of the south-eastern towns of Frun and Rachaya al Foukhar.

UNIFIL’s Ghanaian peacekeepers recently participated in a complex exercise with Italian peacekeepers in south-western Lebanon with the aim of enhancing operational interoperability between reserve assets of the two units.

Following requests from the village of Adshit al-Qusayr in south-eastern Lebanon, UNIFIL has donated a number of agricultural equipment in support of local farmers that will improve food security of the village.
