About 2,500 children from UNIFIL’s area of operations in south Lebanon joined UN peacekeepers in Sultaniyah, Tibnin last Sunday to celebrate “Children’s Spring Festival.”

UNIFIL Sector East conducted a two-week long firefighting training with the Lebanese Civil Defense Centres in south Lebanon.

The joint activity was attended by 77 volunteers from Civil Defence Centres of Marjayoun, El Khiam, Rachaya Al Foukhar, Shab’a, Meiss Ej Jebel, Kleyaa and Frun.

UNIFIL’s Sector East (SECEAST) today concluded a nine-day joint Hand-to-Hand combat training with the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) at a UN position in Marjayoun.
