UNIFIL Head of Mission and Force Commander Major General Stefano Del Col today chaired a special Tripartite meeting – the first since the COVID-19 outbreak – with senior officers from the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)

UNIFIL Italian contingent has aided UNIFIL efforts, together with the Lebanese Armed Forces, to ensure stability in the Mission’s area of operations in south Lebanon through completion of two projects in support of local communities this week.

UNIFIL’s Indian peacekeepers this week donated 21 varieties of veterinary medicines to the shepherds and farmers of 13 villages in south-eastern Lebanon, following requests from the host communities.
