UNIFIL’s Sector West Command teamed up with the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) last week in a blood donation campaign in which more than 150 UNIFIL peacekeepers participated.

UNIFIL peacekeepers from the Republic of Korea unveiled the newly rebuilt and renovated Burj Rahal public school today, following two weeks of work to repair heavy damage from the recent conflict.  

Today marks the end of the period set for the withdrawal of the Israel Defense Forces south of the Blue Line and the parallel Lebanese Armed Forces deployment to positions in southern Lebanon, as envisaged by the Cessation of Hostilities Understanding of 26 November 2024.
