A UNIFIL delegation led by the Mission’s Sector West Commander Brigadier General Diodato Abagnara visited a women-only soccer team of south Lebanon recently as a display of encouragement for women’s participation in various spheres in the Mission’s area of operation.

A public school in Marjayoun in south-eastern Lebanon got a science laboratory last week with funding support from UNIFIL’s Quick Impact Project (QIP).

The latest edition of the “Sancho Panza” course, which includes theoretical and practical classes in preparing Hispanic-Lebanese cuisines, concluded earlier this week in the El Khiam Technical School, south-eastern Lebanon.
