UNIFIL Head of Mission and Force Commander Major General Michael Beary met with H.E. President Michel Aoun, in Beirut today. 

About 120 school children from a non-profit charity – established in 2008 in the name of a martyred Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) official – visited UNIFIL’s Sector East Headquarters in Ibl El Saqi to know about the UN Mission’s work on Saturday.

Dog handlers from UNIFIL’s French contingent trained jointly with their counterparts from the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) earlier this month.

The “Attack Dog” exercise benefited LAF soldiers coming all the way from Beirut.
