A state-owned network of water distribution systems in south-western Lebanon got a new lease of life recently after a UNIFIL-funded project supplied the Tyre Water Bureau with much-needed equipment, tools and spare parts.

UNIFIL peacekeepers, collaborating with the Lebanese Red Cross, have been providing crucial medical care to displaced people in Tyre, southern Lebanon. This effort shows that local and international communities are standing together to support them during this tough time.

UNIFIL Indian peacekeepers recently organized a vaccination event for pet animals in the village of Suq al Khan, south-eastern Lebanon, helping to protect 95 dogs and 10 cats against rabies and other diseases.
