To mark Universal Children's Day 2018, military and civilian peacekeepers from UNIFIL visited the Public School of Naqoura, near UNIFIL’s headquarters. An important aspect of this visit was to present “Mr. & Mrs. Blue Barrel” – a fun and interactive presentation about a serious topic.

An eight-member Armenian delegation led by the country’s Defence Minister, Davit Tonoyan, today visited the UNIFIL Headquarters in Naqoura and the Mission’s area of operation in south Lebanon.

In their ongoing efforts to help improve the lives of the people of their area of responsibility in south-eastern Lebanon, UNIFIL’s Spanish peacekeepers brought in six experts from Spain last month to teach local farmers on best practices in harvesting and milling of olives.
