UNIFIL today hosted a group of about 50 university students from around the world in its headquarters in Naqoura and at a UN position along the Blue Line in a visit organized by Lebanon's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants.
Earlier this month, UNIFIL lost one of its peacekeepers, from India. On 16 July, the Mission’s leadership, representatives of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and fellow peacekeepers paid their last respect to Sergeant Ramesh Singh, who died of medical conditions on 10 July.
