UNIFIL Head of Mission and Force Commander Major General Stefano Del Col today joined local officials in opening a physiotherapy centre in Tyre, which received UNIFIL-donated equipment for the service of the local communities.

UNIFIL French firefighters trained with 16 Lebanese civil defense volunteer firefighters with particular focus on disaster relief management and road rescue in their main base in Dayr Kifa, south Lebanon, last week.

UNIFIL outreach peacekeepers from the Mission’s Military Community Outreach Unit (MCOU) organized an event in a public school in Aita ash-Shaab, south-western Lebanon, for children with disabilities earlier this month.
