UNIFIL Head of Mission and Force Commander Major General Stefano Del Col chaired a Tripartite meeting with senior Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officers today in Ras Al Naqoura.

For the first time since COVID-19 measures were put in place and in an effort to boost the local economy, UNIFIL last week hosted eight local women’s cooperatives in an exhibition where they could sell handmade products to UNIFIL peacekeepers.

UNIFIL today handed over the first monthly delivery of fuel to its strategic partners, the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF), at a ceremony in the UN mission’s headquarters in Naqoura, south Lebanon.
