Naqoura, Lebanon – The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) today honoured its long-serving staff members on the occasion of the 64th United Nations Day.

Media are invited on Thursday, 3 September at 2:00 pm to attend a live fire exercise conducted by the Field Artillery Group of the Quick Reaction Force of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) with the Lebanese Armed Forces 115th Artillery Battalion and 62nd Infantry

An exercise in large-scale disaster response was conducted on 10-11 August jointly by the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), in cooperation with a number of government and non-government organizations in the village of Srifa in south Lebanon.
