New operational framework outlines greater LAF responsibility for maritime security

This morning, heavy machine gunfire from Israel Defense Forces (IDF) positions south of the Blue Line impacted close to a UNIFIL patrol inspecting a roadblock in the village of Bastarra. The gunfire followed a grenade explosion nearby.

UNIFIL-supported Christmas fair brings joy to around 3,000 people near Blue Line

In their efforts to rekindle hope among communities affected by the recent conflict, UNIFIL peacekeepers organized a Christmas fair last week in a village near the Blue Line, bringing together hundreds of children and elders from the affected areas.
